Terms and Conditions of Sale
Definitions
a) “Invitations by Tango”, “we”, “us” or “our” means The Pecks in Paradise Trust T/AS
ABN 24 225 621 453.
b) “you” and “your” means you the buyer/client which purchases the order and/or any person acting on behalf of and with the authority of the Buyer
c) “our website” means tangodesign.com.au
d) “artwork” means the layout, graphics and monogram design in the digital proof or PDF and on printed products.
Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required after placing the order online. This covers purchase of your materials and work on your pdfs. No work will commence until the deposit is received. BALANCE PAYMENT: Payable by the time you approve the pdf and before we commence printing or manual work on your order.
Cancellation of orders:
Should you request to cancel the order after commencing the digital proofing stage, customers will be liable for the design layout cost of $110.00 per digital proof created + cost of materials purchased specially for your order. Invitations by Tango Design reserves the right to refuse cancellation, charge an administration fee, design fee or other fee, where part or all of the services purchased have been used or/and materials purchased.
Change of quantity:
We asses each individual case and we try to be flexible where possible. We buy custom materials for your order as soon as you pay your 50% based how many invitations are ordered. In many cases we are not able to use those materials for other orders. Consequently, should you reduce your numbers from the amount originally ordered, there may be no reduction in the overall price.
Change of mind:
Should you change your mind during the proofing stage and would like a whole new design, a design fee of $110 is required to cover some of the time involved to accommodate this change. This fee is independent of the cost of the order.
(This does not happen often as brides have a good look at the pdf examples and choose from there.)
Errors:
Any custom made products that have errors, such as incorrect printing are subject to investigation to determine the cause of the error.
If the error is deemed to be due to an incorrect proof being approved, reprinting costs will need to be borne by the customer.
Rush Service Options:
If you need your wedding stationery quicker, please ask us for the 'RUSH SERVICE' (20% surcharge) and we will prioritise your order (turnaround on PDFs is shorter) and engage reliable temporary staff to get the job done, usually within a week from pdf approval.
Shipping of orders:
Invitations by Tango Design includes shipping insurance in the shipping fees it charges. It is not possible to voluntarily remove this component of the shipping fee. Since most of the items we ship will require a signature for delivery, we recommend using a shipping address where someone will be available to sign for your order. Work addresses are suitable.
Copyright:
Invitations by Tango Design owns the copyright for the artwork provided on the invitations and stationery design.
Artwork, invitations and stationery products may not copied, reproduced in other items purchased somewhere else or altered without prior written permission from us.
A high-resolution file of the client’s monogram or initials can be purchased for AU$110.
We reserve the right to place a discreet logo incorporating our website address to each product we sell. We usually do that on the back of a belly band.
Design Ownership and Social Media:
We encourage our clients to share photos of our stationery, and love seeing photos on the day as well! Social Media Sharing:
Any images consisting our work posted on social media MUST HAVE a credit back to our website, IG, FB.

Invitations by tango Design retains the right to post your invitations or wedding goods on our website and social media. We usually only share sneak peeks of the invitations on social media stories before the wedding date. We typically wait until invites have been sent out before we share on a whole permanent post and we email you for your permission if personal/real details are shown (we may have changed the main names, or the venue or any of the details is we post earlier)
Governance:
Invitations by Tango Design is located in Queensland Australia and as such is subject to the consumer laws of the State and Nation. Any disputes will be settled using the laws of Queensland and Australia that are in place at the time of purchase. While nothing in these terms is designed to contravene law and we try to update the terms as necessary, changes to legislation may render part or all of this document invalid.
